The Fifth Column and the Pro-Iran Movement in the US

The Fifth Column in the USA

Within hours of the news that the Iranian Quds Force commander, Qassem Soleimani, was killed, there were over 200 US-wide pro-Iran demonstrations. These well-attended events were organized exclusively by the Red-Green Alliance, an amalgam of communist/socialist/black militant and Muslim organizations. The bulk of the red part of this alliance was represented by the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) and ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism). The green element of the alliance included a number of Islamic organizations such as CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) and several of its affiliate Muslim Brotherhood groups, Nation of Islam, the National Iranian American Council (NIAC), the Muslim Anti-Racism Collaborative, Black Lives Matter, and representatives Rashida Tlaib, Keith Ellison, and Ilhan Omar.

Pro-Iran Marches in the US 2020

Evaluating the demonstration timeline, it is remarkable just how quickly the activists responded to the call to hit the streets. In the 24 hours between the news of Soleimani’s death on January 3rd and the early morning of January 4th, when the boots were on the ground, the organizers pulled all-nighters, printing and mounting thousands of signs and banners. They also solved complex logistic problems of transportation, food, and communications—all hallmarks of an efficient bureaucracy and well-funded organization.

Running a people count analysis on dozens of videos from these rallies showed large crowds in most of the rally locations. In the event outside of the White House, there were about 1,000 demonstrators; in Boston, around 500; in New Haven, Connecticut, about 150; in Las Angeles, about 450.

In most of this demonstration, their pre-event activity on social media indicated that the ANSWER Coalition had coordinated these rallies with CAIR and other US Muslim affiliates. The analysis of the content of the speeches shows that the majority of the speakers promoted a pro-Iranian political agenda (even though many of the organizations claimed to be non-profits and dedicated to US civil rights activity). The common themes across these events were “the need to fight the unlawful actions of the United States Middle East” and “US withdrawal from Iraq.” From the content of the speeches, it seems that these and other foreign policy demands were more aligned with the role of foreign agents than domestic civil rights activists.

The Mystery Behind the Activists and Their Motivation
Despite the abundance of evidence regarding the organizations that orchestrated these rallies, very little is known about the individual activists and their personal motivations. This raises a fundamental question: what unites such ideologically incompatible participants? For instance, what common cause binds a devout Muslim woman—who wears a hijab, prays five times a day, lives a strictly monogamous life, and professes the absolute supremacy of Allah and His prophet—with a fellow female demonstrator who openly identifies as an atheist, posts toilet selfies on social media, participates in group sex, and professes allegiance to Satan? The convergence of such radically divergent belief systems suggests that something deeper than mere political agreement is at work—perhaps a shared opposition to Western institutions, a rejection of traditional national identity, or alignment under a broader revolutionary or nihilistic umbrella.

Two Pro-Iran Female Activists
Image 3: Two activist types sharing the stage during the pro-Iran demonstrations

There are several plausible explanations for the widespread nature of these pro-Iran rallies. One possibility is that there truly exists a nationwide constituency of Americans who spend their free time anxiously concerned for the well-being of Iranian mullahs and the leadership of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Every few weeks, this population purportedly feels compelled to take time off from school or work to brave freezing temperatures, wave Iranian flags, and chant slogans in support of a figure like Qassem Soleimani—an architect of terror with American blood on his hands.

Alternatively, and far more credibly, these demonstrations may be the visible product of influence operations orchestrated by foreign governments. These regimes work through front groups posing as U.S. civil rights organizations—groups they have quietly established, co-opted, financed, and now control—to advance foreign political agendas under the guise of domestic protest.

Discerning the true nature of these mobilizations is no simple task. From a distance, the crowds appear as diverse and organic assemblies of concerned citizens. But appearances can be deceptive. The real question is not just who shows up—but who sent them, and why.

A Note About The Analytics
I’ve received a number of comments expressing concern about the invasive nature of AI and facial recognition. Like any advanced technology, AI-based analytics is a double-edged sword. We’ve already seen how tech giants like Google and major social media platforms have weaponized AI—using it to purge dissenting content, deplatform users, and promote narratives via their affiliated “fact-checkers.” This practice is no longer speculative; it’s an operational reality. The continuation and self-reinforcement of this trend through mainstream media carries the very real potential of ushering in a dystopian era—a fusion of Orwell’s 1984 and Huxley’s Brave New World—where a small, privileged elite controls access to information and knowledge.

And yet, there is another side to this coin. AI also has the power to democratize intelligence gathering and analysis. It equips us to expose hidden influence networks, identify coordinated disinformation campaigns, and trace their origins with precision. Used correctly, it is a scalpel—not a hammer—for truth. In the right hands, AI-based analytics can disinfect the political arena, our justice system, and public discourse, much like sarcasm peels away the thin veneer of hypocrisy.

Winning the information war may seem like an impossible task. But as Ecclesiastes reminds us, “the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong.” And as the story of David and Goliath in 1 Samuel 17 teaches, with faith and the willingness to improvise, adapt, and overcome, even a small pebble—launched from the right technological slingshot—can bring down giants like the mainstream media.

The Search Strategy
My strategy for uncovering the sources behind the pro-Iran demonstrations employed a layered methodology that combined advanced video analytics with open-source intelligence (OSINT), cyber and darknet intelligence (CYBINT/DNINT), financial intelligence (FININT), and large-scale data enrichment. The goal was to assemble a high-fidelity dossier on individual participants, mapping their social, professional, and ideological networks. With this foundation, I could begin to isolate the financial, ideological, and psychological drivers behind their participation.

The game-changer in this effort was the integration of generative AI, which vastly expanded the scope, speed, and precision of my investigation. Unlike traditional data mining tools, generative AI allowed for automated hypothesis generation, the creation of synthetic training data to improve model accuracy, and context-aware cross-referencing of fragmented digital trails. Using transformer-based models, I could fuse disjointed sources—e.g., partial social profiles, metadata fragments, protest footage, leaked financial records—into unified identity profiles with confidence scores and inferred motivations.

AI-powered video, audio, and big data analytics were essential to this process. These tools efficiently performed massive linkage-based searches, dismantling the anonymity typically afforded by swarming crowds, masks, or pseudonymous accounts. The volume of footage available across social media and news sources from both current and past protests created a rich input stream for machine learning (ML) classification and behavioral modeling.

The process began with a comprehensive classification of every person and object visible in the footage. Crowd segmentation was performed using computer vision models trained for ethnicity, age, and gender classification. Generative AI was used to simulate likely interaction patterns within these sub-groups—based on ideological similarity, proximity, shared digital behavior, and financial traces—creating behavioral “constellations” that mirrored real-world coordination structures.

Following this segmentation, I applied facial recognition and multi-modal identity fusion—linking visual profiles to social media data, voiceprints, movement patterns, and financial activity. Generative AI tools also reconstructed incomplete information: for example, extrapolating full names from partial usernames, synthesizing alternate digital identities, and linking disinformation narratives to their originators through linguistic fingerprinting.

Ultimately, this allowed me to reverse-engineer the architecture of what appeared to be decentralized grassroots protests, revealing instead a web of coordinated activity—often foreign-backed, frequently financially incentivized, and strategically aligned. What once took teams of analysts months to do manually can now be achieved in hours using scalable generative AI frameworks that learn, adapt, and even suggest the next investigative step autonomously.

In short, generative AI didn’t just assist the investigation—it made it possible.

Next, I compiled enriched profiles for each identified individual by aggregating data from a broad range of sources, including public records, social media, financial disclosures, academic affiliations, leaked databases, and communication metadata. This raw collection was ingested into a centralized data warehouse, where it underwent normalization, deduplication, and standardization into canonical form. This process ensured uniformity in identity representation and enabled seamless cross-referencing across datasets.

Once structured, the data was processed using a suite of business intelligence (BI) and analytical tools to generate detailed dossiers for each actor and their extended networks. Each dossier included:

  • Political affiliation and ideological indicators
  • Social graph and professional network analysis
  • Financial and socioeconomic indicators, including estimated wealth, employment status, education level, and public assistance use
  • Criminal history, where available
  • Political and sexual orientation inferences, derived through behavior, declared preferences, group affiliations, and semantic patterning
  • Lifestyle indicators, including substance use, travel patterns, and digital consumption habits
  • Psychographic profiling, including high-level personality classification (e.g., Big Five traits, Dark Triad markers, behavioral volatility scores)

This integrated view transformed abstract crowd data into actionable intelligence, revealing not just who these individuals are but how they connect, coordinate, and operate within larger ideological or operational ecosystems.

The Search Objectives
The objective of this investigation was not to unmask or target any specific activist. Rather, the goal was to identify behavioral and ideological prototypes—typical profiles of individuals and their organizational linkages within the broader ecosystem of pro-Iran activism. Throughout the analysis, the AI cataloged the identities of approximately 517,000 individuals, encompassing not only frontline activists but also their extended social, familial, and professional networks.

For the purposes of this post, only a small, illustrative subset of these findings has been presented as case studies. Sensitive or explicit content—such as depictions of sexual activity, drug use, or violence—has been deliberately masked or omitted from any accompanying imagery to maintain analytical focus and respect public sensibilities.

To conduct the video analytics and the data analytics, I’ve utilized the following tools:

The Analysis Process
The statistics presented in the following summaries are based on specific, verifiable data points collected during the investigation. For instance, to categorize an individual as having consumed alcohol, one or more of the following criteria had to be met:

  1. The individual appeared in imagery visibly holding or consuming an alcoholic beverage.
  2. There was a textual reference—either self-authored or attributed by others—explicitly indicating alcohol use.

No inferences were drawn from indirect contextual cues, such as presence in a group photo at a bar or restaurant, without corroborating evidence. The same level of evidentiary rigor was applied across other behavioral categories.

All reported figures should be understood within a margin of error, as some data may be incomplete, outdated, or subject to interpretive constraints. Statistical sampling was employed primarily for trend analysis and pattern recognition, not for deterministic conclusions about individual behavior.

The dataset includes:

  • 13,000+ individuals directly linked to the demonstrations
  • 517,000+ individuals comprising their extended social and professional networks
  • 64,000+ tagged video objects (e.g., hats, banners, megaphones, placards)

Each individual and organization profile was enriched through multi-source data fusion from a wide range of open-source platforms, databases, and social media channels. See Table 1 for a breakdown of the enrichment sources utilized.

Table 1: Sampling of the data enrichment sources used in searching and building individual and organization profiles and dossiers

To ensure the reliability and integrity of the dataset, only entries that met the following enrichment and validation standards were included in the final database and reporting outputs:

  1. Minimum Enrichment Threshold:
Records that could not be enriched—due to the absence of matching data points across external sources—were excluded from the final report.
  2. Deduplication Protocol:
Duplicate entries (e.g., instances where the same individual appeared under different aliases or identifiers) were resolved by consolidating the records into the version with the most complete and verified data—the “richer” profile.
  3. Cross-Matching Requirements:
To qualify as a valid entry, each individual had to be positively cross-matched using at least one of the following:
    – Facial recognition match with imagery from known sources
    – Phone number correlation across platforms or datasets
    – Address verification through public or private data sources
  4. Identification Confidence Threshold:
An individual was included in the analytical reporting only if their identity could be verified with a confidence score of 89% or higher, based on a combination of biometric, textual, and relational markers.

These criteria were essential in filtering out noise, false positives, and unverifiable data, allowing for a high-confidence representation of the individuals and networks under investigation.

The Results
Analysis of the collected data revealed a clearly defined hub-and-spoke organizational hierarchy underlying what initially appeared to be decentralized, grassroots demonstrations. While the visible composition of these events—diverse in race, gender, age, and profession—suggested local spontaneity, deeper investigation showed that they operated as tightly coordinated networks with centralized leadership and standardized operating procedures.

This centralization is corroborated by multiple sources of evidence, including:

  • Issued directives on when and where to initiate protests
  • Predefined messaging themes and slogans
  • Detailed specifications for props, including signs, banners, and masks
  • Coordination with mainstream media (MSM) for coverage planning
  • Engagement with aligned politicians, both at local and national levels

Despite geographical diversity, rallies across the country featured nearly identical speeches and messaging, with uniform talking points repeated verbatim. This level of coherence across events strongly suggests top-down orchestration rather than organic, decentralized expression.

The following word cloud, generated from transcribed speeches across six U.S.-based rallies, highlights the most frequently recurring terms:

Word Cloud of Pro-Iran Rallies
Image 8
: The word cloud of the pro-Iran speeches in 6 rallies across the US

Using this method, recurring thematic elements included:
“Impeachment,” “American Aggression,” “Trump Wants War,” “No War with Iran,” “Occupation of Iraq,” “War for Oil,” “Imperialism,” “U.S. Out of the Middle East,” and “Islamophobia.”

These findings illustrate the disciplined narrative management and strategic messaging consistency typical of professionally organized influence operations.

The Organizational Hierarchy
Despite the varied geographical locations of the rallies, the hierarchy and structure of the  organization responsible for the demonstrations were identical and can be roughly divided into these three categories:

  1. National Leaders – Dictates the ideology and political orientation of any rally.
  2. National and Local Organizers mobilize the troops, handle the logistics, and interact with the media and politicians.
  3. Local Activists – The human biomass and boots on the ground

Just some Faces in the Crowd

The Leaders
An overwhelming majority (93%) of the leaders who ordered the mobilization of organizers and activists—and who dictated the agenda for the rallies—came from U.S.-based Islamic organizations. The leading organization among them was CAIR.

These leaders have family connections in the Middle East and periodically travel there for both business and pleasure. Over 87% are engaged in some form of lobbying activity in the U.S. on behalf of a Middle Eastern country. This lobbying primarily promotes the interests of Islamic fundamentalist parties, often associated with Turkey, Iran, Qatar, Libya, or Algeria.

All members of the leadership team are salaried employees, with incomes ranging from $140K to $350K. The Islamic organizations they represent are overwhelmingly affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, though a few have connections to Shiite networks within the U.S. These leaders also mobilize, direct, and script messaging for representatives such as Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, exercising full control over the narrative.

All of the leaders maintain close ties to their local congressional or senatorial representatives, with 96% identifying with the Democratic Party. They frequently travel to Washington, D.C., to meet with these lawmakers. During the Obama administration, many of the leaders visited the White House and met with the president, cabinet members, and senior staff. Numerous national politicians associated with these leaders regularly appear as speakers and guests at Islamic organizational and social events, where they also advocate for and promote pro-Islamic legislation.

This form of Islamic political activism often operates as a family enterprise. In 71% of cases, the children of these leaders enter the same line of work, frequently joining the same organizations after graduating from college. Some of these second-generation activists also run for public office, leveraging the political and financial support of the Muslim Brotherhood network.

All of the Leaders, regardless of their location, promote the following agendas:

  1. Open borders and unrestricted immigration
  2. Elimination or reduction of ICE’s scope of responsibility
  3. Immigration reforms for Muslim travel and visas
  4. Strict gun control laws
  5. Sanctuary Cities
  6. Anti-Israel policies and the promotion of BDS
  7. Women’s rights with emphasis on abortion rights
  8. Black Lives Matter
  9. Reparations
  10. Sharia law as an alternative to common law

The Organizers
Approximately 24% of the organizers had prior run-ins with the law and had either been arrested or served time in jail. Most of these offenses were unrelated to political activism; while some involved misdemeanor charges such as disorderly conduct, the majority were felonies tied to drugs, theft, violent crimes, or fraud.

Over 68% of the native Black American demonstrators had converted to Islam and participated in the events as part of mosque-affiliated activities.

Among the Black Muslim organizers, 77% showed irregularities in their religious education and/or credentials. These issues included claiming degrees from institutions that did not exist at the time of the stated graduation date, or schools that formally denied the individual had ever enrolled.

The majority (89%) of the Organizers came from the communist socialist alliance. This group comprises two distinct age groups: 20-40 and 40-70 year olds. Many Organizers (44%) in blue cities like Chicago and New York have Latin American roots. None of the Organizers identified in this search participated in this activity on a purely voluntary basis. They are ‘professional’ employees with incomes ranging from $70K to $110K.

Several of the organizers have direct connections to Russian officials and the media controlled by the Russian government. They regularly contribute to Russian state propaganda publications in the US and professionally appear on the RT and Sputnik channels. In several instances, their Russian contacts were affiliated with the Russian intelligence services. About 26% of the Organizers were DACA.

Many Organizers, like Brian Becker, also maintain a long-term relationship with MSM outlets such as MSNBC and the New York Times. These have historically provided them with very sympathetic coverage and a platform for their ‘anti’ event of the day.

The Activists
The activists made up the majority—83%—of the demonstrators. This group consisted primarily of retired individuals, including former teachers, labor organizers, and public sector employees, many of whom have been lifelong members of various communist organizations. The second segment of the activist population included college students, professionals, unemployed individuals, and their immediate family members. Within this broader group, there were also small pockets of military veterans, comprising approximately 5% in larger metropolitan areas.

Among the younger activists (ages 20–40), nearly 78% were affiliated with Antifa.

The majority of white student activists were enrolled in liberal arts colleges and majored in humanities-related disciplines. In several instances, faculty members at these institutions actively mobilized students to participate in demonstrations as part of formal or informal political activism efforts. This trend differed sharply from that of Muslim student activists, many of whom were enrolled in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) fields.

The average student debt among white participants ranged between $40,000 and $80,000, whereas many Muslim students attended university through scholarships or grant-based financial aid.

Over 32% of the Muslim activists who participated in the rallies are in the U.S. on student visas. A substantial 95% of them were affiliated with Muslim Brotherhood-linked organizations, most notably the Muslim Students Association (MSA).

Among the male Muslim activists, 47% were observed openly dating non-Muslim women. In contrast, no Muslim female activists were found to be openly dating non-Muslim men; however, approximately 11% were involved in concealed sexual relationships.

Many of these activists also participate in broader progressive political movements, engaging in causes such as women’s rights, Black Lives Matter (BLM), animal rights, climate change activism, and sex/gender identity advocacy.

Over 98% of the Activists previously participated in various BDS and anti-Israel activities. About 14% of the Activists were Jewish, 24% were Christians, and 41% were Muslims. Very few (4%) of actual undocumented/illegal immigrants showed up to these events.

More than half (54%) of the activists exhibited some form of substance dependency, as indicated by participation in Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or multiple documented instances of drug rehabilitation. A significant portion—approximately 34% of both male and female activists—smoked cigarettes, vaped, or used hookahs regularly.

Additionally, nearly 10% had at least one parent or primary caregiver who had either committed suicide or attempted suicide, indicating a notable pattern of psychological trauma within the broader activist demographic.

Over 36% of white male and female activists (excluding Muslims) had visible tattoos. This subgroup also demonstrated notable engagement with occult practices and various forms of modern paganism.

Approximately 35% of female activists and 19% of male activists showed one or more indicators of having experienced sexual abuse during childhood, based on behavioral markers, self-disclosures, or corroborated documentation.

Lifestyle And Habits
When not actively profiting from the “revolution,” most of the organizers lead distinctly bourgeois lifestyles. They often own real estate in affluent neighborhoods, drive imported SUVs, and send their children to private schools. Their routines include soccer practice drop-offs, stock market investments, and collecting fine art. Many indulge in expensive wines and craft beers, take overseas vacations, and pursue costly hobbies—such as riding carbon fiber mountain bikes. Their wardrobes feature fashionable, branded clothing, and they frequently hold season tickets to major sporting events.

The Muslim Brotherhood Connection
The leadership of the Red-Green Alliance is composed entirely of Islamists, many of whom are either open or covert members of the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States. Some are first-generation Americans born to immigrant Arab parents, while others arrived in the U.S. during the 1990s as students and later became naturalized citizens, often through marriage to American nationals. Notably, a number of these marriages ended shortly after naturalization, raising credible concerns about marriage fraud.

All senior members are affiliated with mosques that espouse fundamentalist interpretations of Islam, and they actively cultivate a public image of extraordinary piety and devotion. The men, in particular, frequently post images of themselves in traditional Islamic dress, engaged in prayer, and participating in visibly religious activities, reinforcing their identity as devout Muslims.

Esam Omeish-Gotta Pray
Image 19: Social media virtue signaling, a Red-Green Alliance Leader posting images of praying in his living room and with his good friends Congressman Don Beyer and the convicted felon turned Muslim civil rights activist Mahdi Bray

Public photographs of female family members consistently depict them wearing the hijab, presenting an image of modesty and religious adherence. However, in multiple documented instances, these same individuals maintained “shadow” social media accounts where they posted or consumed sexually explicit content and/or pornography, suggesting a stark contrast between public presentation and private behavior.

The leadership team is also actively involved in a range of foreign political organizations, including the Libyan-American Alliance, which advocates for strict Islamic doctrine and promotes the geopolitical interests of Qatar and Turkey—both of which are also primary funders of these efforts. All members of the leadership maintain strong political ties to various Democratic congressmen and senators, whom they support through both financial contributions and electoral mobilization.

In addition to their U.S. activities, all leaders maintain extensive familial and business connections in the Middle East and travel there frequently. During the Arab Spring, several either participated in or provided material support to jihadi militant campaigns in the region. As a result, a few have appeared on terror watch lists for their affiliations and actions during that period.

This leadership group, along with many of their relatives, plays a central role in organizing domestic movements such as Black Lives Matter (BLM), anti-Israel protests, and BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) campaigns. All individuals in this cohort are native Arabic speakers, and many routinely post on social media in both Arabic and English. The Arabic-language content often contains incendiary rhetoric, including anti-Israel, anti-American, and jihadist messaging, while the English-language content is calibrated to appeal to progressive social and political themes. Numerous comments on their Arabic posts openly call for jihad against the United States and advocate for the covert seizure of political power.

Several of these leaders have a documented history of preaching jihad both within the U.S. and abroad. Additionally, some of the affiliated organizations—such as Islamic Relief—have been tied to fundraising and logistical support for U.S.-designated terrorist organizations, including Hezbollah, Hamas, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

Leadership Case Study 1 –  Esam Omeish
Esam Omeish serves as a representative case study of a typical leader within the Red-Green Alliance. Born in Tripoli, Libya, in 1967, he immigrated to the United States with his family in 1982 at the age of 15. The family settled in Falls Church, Virginia, where he attended J. E. B. Stuart High School. While there, he and his brother initiated the first Muslim Friday prayers held at the school.

After high school, Omeish enrolled at Georgetown University, graduating in 1989 with a double major in government and biology. He subsequently attended Georgetown University School of Medicine. During his academic years, Omeish served as president of the Muslim Students Association (MSA) at Georgetown.

The MSA, which Omeish led, was originally established in the United States by members of the Muslim Brotherhood—a transnational Islamist movement whose stated goal is the replacement of secular legal systems with Islamic law (Sharia) and the creation of a global Islamic order.

From 2004 to 2008, he served as president of the Muslim American Society (MAS), another Muslim Brotherhood-funded organization. Recently, Omeish served as director of the Libyan Emergency Taskforce and several other foreign fundamentalist Islamic organizations.

The Dar al-Hijrah Mosque, AKA the ‘Nest of Vipers’
Omeish served on the board of directors of the radical Dar al-Hijrah mosque in Fairfax, Virginia. Since its founding, this mosque has had numerous links to terrorists and Islamist radicals. US Department of Treasury records state that Dar al-Hijrah

is a mosque operating as a front for Hamas operatives in US,” that it “is associated with Islamic extremists,”  that it “has been under numerous investigations for financing and proving aid and comfort to bad orgs and members,” that it has “been linked to numerous individuals linked to terrorism financing,” and that it “has also been associated with encouraging fraudulent marriages.”

The following is a short sampling of just a few of the ‘regular suspects’ at this fine religious institution:

  • Esam Omeish, an Imam at the mosque. He stated that “the jihad way is the way to liberate your land.” He advocates that the US should support the “Revolutionary Shura Council,” or the “Mujahideen Shura of Derna,” (an al-Qaida affiliate), which in 2017-2018 conducted multiple attacks against Coptic Christians. In 2017, the Libyan government placed him on their terror list.
  • Anwar al-Awlaki, the Imam at this mosque in 2001, was a close friend of Esam Omeish. He was the spiritual inspiration for Omar Mateen, the terrorist from the Orlando Pulse nightclub massacre of 49, and his close friend Moner Abu-Salha, the first American suicide bomber in Syria. Al-Awlaki was also the advisor and guide to two of the 9/11 hijackers, Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf Al-Hazmi. Awlaki was in contact via email with Nidal Hasan, the US Army Major who in November 2009 murdered 13 soldiers at the Fort Hood military post near Killeen, Texas. Abut a year after the attack, Awlaki referred to Hasan as a “hero.” Awlaki was involved in an October 2010 plot to blow up a US cargo plane flying from Yemen to the United States. The bomb, disguised as an ink cartridge, was built by AQAP’s chief bomb maker Ibrahim al-Asiri and was timed to detonate as the plane flew over the eastern seaboard of the United States. The bomb was removed by British police after a tip from Saudi intelligence. In 2011, Awlaki instructed British citizen Minh Quang Pham to carry out a suicide bombing at London’s Heathrow International Airport. Awlaki was killed in a drone strike in 2011.
  • Abdulhaleem al-Ashqar, served as a board member of the mosque. Ashqar was indicted in August 2004 for participating in a 15-year racketeering conspiracy to finance Hamas’ activities. Ashqar was subsequently convicted of contempt and obstruction. He was sentenced to 11 years in prison in November 2007.
  • Ismail Elbarasse, one of Dar al-Hijrah’s founding members. Elbarasse was the assistant Hamas #2 leader Mousa Mohammed Abu Marzook. The two shared a joint bank account from which Elbarasse wired $735,000 to Hamas operative Mohammad Salah, who was indicted with Ashqar and Marzook in 2004. In 1998, Elbarasse was jailed for refusing to assist a grand jury investigation of Hamas’ US activities. Elbarasse was also named as a co-conspirator in two Hamas-support trials. He was again arrested in August 2004 after his wife, who was sitting in the passenger seat of his car, was caught videotaping the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. A search of Elbarasse’s home turned up the “Anarchist Cookbook,”.
  • Ahmed Omar Abu Ali,  convicted of plotting to assassinate President Bush and a regular worshiper at Dar al-Hijrah.
  • Ali al-Tamimi, an Islamic teacher who frequented the mosque, was convicted of inciting terrorism in connection with the Virginia Jihad Network, and sentenced to life in prison.
  • Imam Shakir El-Sayed, the current Imam at Dar al-Hijrah. He regularly uses extremist rhetoric in sermons to condone the use of violence in a variety of unfavorable situations for Muslims, emphasize that Islam forbids allegiance to the secular state, and support female genital mutilation to prevent ‘hypersexuality’.
  • Sami Al-Arian, attended the mosque and lectured there. He pleaded guilty in 2006 to conspiring to provide goods or services to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

In 2007, Esam Omeish was forced to resign from the Virginia Commission on Immigration after the emergence of a video in which he praised individuals who had chosen “the jihad way” to liberate their land. Notably, Omeish has publicly expressed the belief that the United States is Islamic land, further contextualizing his remarks. In a separate video, he was seen congratulating Islamic “martyrs” for “giving up their lives for the sake of Allah,” statements that raised serious concerns about his ideological alignment and associations.

In an April 2004 speech at a MAS conference, Omeish referred to Hamas founder Ahmed Yassin, killed in an Israeli drone strike one month earlier, as “our beloved Sheikh Ahmed Yassin.” In that same appearance, he urged the audience to integrate rather than assimilate. Omeish said it was time to take the bull by the horns in:

making sure that I will not accept the evils of this society.”

He said it was important to:

perfect societyso it can carry the light of Allah so it can establish a presence of what a perfect society under the guidance of Allah is.” He also said that Islam will either “become the dominant religion of the next century,” or, “we may be forcibly rejected from the West because of forces of intolerance, racism and bigotry are present and grow larger.”

In a January 2009 sermon at the Dar al-Hijrah mosque, Omeish called for “an American Islamic movement that transforms our status [to that of a constitutional republic], that impacts our society, and that brings forth the change [implementing an Islamic state and Sharia law] that we want to see.”

In 2011, Omeish traveled to Libya to participate in the revolution. His visit was sponsored by several hardline Salafi jihadist organizations. While on the frontlines, he met, worked with, and supported several jihadi militias.

Omeish visited the White House several times and met President Clinton, President Obama, John Kerry, and Samantha Power, the US ambassador to the UN. He met twice with Paul Monteiro, Associate Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement, on March 9, 2011, and March 30, 2012. On April 15, 2011, Omeish played the ultimate role of a fox guarding the hen house when he met with Karen Richardson, Associate Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement, and advised her on strategies to combat Islamic extremism.

In 2016, Omeish wrote a letter to President Obama in which he officially pledged his support for the Mujahideen Shura Council of Derna, a group linked with al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM).

Omeish has politically endorsed, financially supported, and worked closely with notable democratic politicians such as Keith Ellison, Senators Blumenthal, and Mark Warner, Congressman Jim Moran, Governor Terry McAuliffe, Governor Ralph Northam, Congressman Don Beyer, and Congressman Nick Rhall. With CAIR’s guidance, he spearheaded the development of several pro-Islamic state and federal programs that support Islamic expansion in the US.

Foreign Funding and Support for US Islamic Politicians
The Muslim Brotherhood in the US, as well as the Turkish and Qatari governments, have financially floated political Muslim candidates the likes of Ilhan Omar. We can gain some insight into this funding mechanisms from an article entitled “Media flak directed at Ilhan Omar no surprise at all”, published by the pro-Turkish government Anadolu news agency on April 2, 2019. In this piece, the author, Dr. Tarek Cherkaoui, stated, “Lastly, since the [anti-Ilhan Omar] campaign was fixated on making an example of Ilhan Omar, donating money to Omar’s campaign fund would be an adequate way of denying powerful organizations the power to censor alternative voices.”

Some of the resulting political ‘favors’ for floating Islamic-friendly congressional representatives, senators, and governors can be gleaned from proposed programs such as the removal of restrictions on Syrian refugee vetting and entry to the US, easing/eliminating immigration, and eliminating visa restrictions for foreign family members of Muslim individuals who immigrated to the US.

It is evident from Omeish’s writings, lectures, and social media postings that he doesn’t view his close relationships with the fundamental Islamic institutions, organizations, or jihadi militias as problematic. Nor does he believe that his association and work with Qatari and Turkish agents in the US and abroad will put him in trouble with US authorities.

Omeish is not an isolated case. An analysis of his social and professional network revealed numerous instances in which his colleagues and associates—including individuals employed by federal government agencies such as the State Department—have posted jihadi-aligned content or made public declarations in Arabic professing loyalty to foreign governments. In some cases, individuals have gone so far as to openly advocate for the overthrow of the U.S. government, raising significant national security and counterintelligence concerns.

Welcome to the Libyan Government Terror List
In 2017, the Libyan Defense and National Security Committee published a terrorist list that included 75 Islamist Libyan lawmakers, politicians, military officers, clerics, activists and journalists all of which opposed “Operation Dignity”, the government campaign against jihadi militias in Libya. The list also included Muslim Brotherhood groups like Ansar al-Sharia in Libya.  Esam Omeish and other senior members of these jihadi militias were named individually. Of note is that the Defense and National Security Committee also sent this list to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Egypt, and Bahrain so that they could append it to their terrorist lists.

In 2009, Omeish ran unsuccessfully for the state representative office in Virginia. He sold himself as a patriotic, progressive American candidate. Omeish’s campaign was fully backed up and supported by CAIR’s senior executive Nihad Awad and the political leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood in the US.

Esam Omeish The Political Lizard
Image 30: The Omeish jihadi family activity, their political network, and some insight into their profiles. Many of the conversations within Omeish’s social and professional network exhibit the most vile forms of anti-Semitism; the general tune is one of disgust towards Western values and the concept of a constitutional republic.

Omeish’s Magical Appearing and Disappearing Jihadi Sword Trick
One of Esam Omeish’s fundraising events was held at his 7,000-square-foot mansion in Virginia and was attended by prominent figures, including Congressman Keith Ellison. The event began with socializing and refreshments for invited dignitaries, followed by group prayer and a series of political speeches. A television crew began recording just prior to the commencement of the speeches.

However, a video analysis of still images—taken earlier in the event by Omeish family members—revealed a notable anomaly. AI object detection identified a large Islamic sword mounted on one of the walls. The anomaly arose when the same sword was later detected again—this time partially concealed on a table at the edge of the room. Upon manual review of the footage, it became evident that Omeish had removed the sword from the wall just before the political speeches were recorded, and discreetly stashed it out of frame. The timing and concealment raise questions about the symbolic or rhetorical intent behind its initial display.

This crafty inward and outward image management is standard practice for the Muslim Brotherhood operations worldwide. On one hand, preaching to their followers the most vile forms of anti-Semitism, extreme violent jihad, and the subversion of the US Constitution, and on the other hand, shrewdly present themselves to the general public as progressive social activists.

Leadership Case Study 2 – Mongi Dhaouadi
Mongi Dhaouadi was born and raised in Tunisia. He came to the US at 19 to study Electrical Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. While at school, he became involved with the Muslim Students Association (MSA). After graduation, he worked as the head administrator in the Islamic Salma K. Farid Academy. He quickly rose through the ranks and joined CAIR-CT as an executive director. Dhaouadi’s propaganda role included conducting civil rights workshops titled “Know Your Rights”. He also lead public workshops and discussions on Islamophobia and the Muslim experience before and after 9/11.

Dhaouadi leads multiple large-scale fake news media campaigns and press conferences falsely alleging discrimination against the Muslim community. Dhaouadi is the MSM’s go-to person for Islamic-related issues and has participated in dozens of interviews. He is also a favorite with pro-Islamic and bleaching outlets like Al-Jazeera, Voice of America, the New York Times, Washington Post, and Democracy Now.

In 2018, as part of the never-ending Muslim Brotherhood shell game of spawning complex organizational networks and changing R&R of their management he showed up as a director of an entity called United Muslim Voices and as the senior program officer at the Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy (CSID).

Senator Blumenthal, the Mouthpiece of the US Muslim Brotherhood
Over the past 10 years, Dhaouadi and fellow Muslim Brotherhood leaders have come to practically control politicians like Senator Richard Blumenthal, D-Connecticut. This was achieved via donations, fundraisers, and a guaranteed Muslim voting block.

Blumenthal and Dhaouadi’s love affair began around 2011 when the senator was a keynote at a CAIR fundraising banquet. At the time, Dhaouadi was the chapter’s executive director. Blumenthal knew that the 2011 CAIR event included a long list of Islamic extremists such as Imam Siraj Wahhaj—a friend of Dhaouadi and a co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing who testified as a character witness for Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman, the “Blind Sheikh”.

The Brooklyn-based Siraj Wahhaj is a fanatical jihadi who demands the implementation of Sharia law in the US, stating that: “Islam is better than democracy. Allah will cause his deen [Islam as a complete way of life], Islam to prevail over every kind of system, and you know what? It will happen.”

He also supports stoning for adultery and cutting off of hands for thievery, stating that:

“If Allah says 100 strikes, 100 strikes it is. If Allah says cut off their hand, you cut off their hand. If Allah says stone them to death, through the Prophet Muhammad, then you stone them to death, because it’s the obedience of Allah and his messenger—nothing personal”

Consistent with patterns of violence and extremism associated with the Muslim Brotherhood–linked figures, it is not surprising that in 2018, three of Imam Siraj Wahhaj’s children—Siraj Wahhaj Jr., Hujrah Wahhaj, and Subhanah Wahhaj—were arrested in New Mexico on terrorism and child abuse charges.

The case centered around Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, who was accused of causing the death of his three-year-old son, a child who suffered from epilepsy. Wahhaj reportedly believed the child was possessed by demons, and although he appeared to be alive, Wahhaj claimed it was the demons animating his body. After the child’s death, he was allegedly buried in a tunnel beneath an armed compound.

According to authorities, Wahhaj told members of the commune—a highly controlled, fundamentalist Islamic enclave—that the child would soon be resurrected as Jesus, who would return to identify corrupt individuals and institutions in the United States. These targets were to be attacked and killed by members of the commune. The kill list allegedly included teachers, military and law enforcement personnel, and financial institutions.

In alignment with a hypocritical pattern observed in some extremist Islamist networks, which advocate for the revocation of the Second Amendment for the general population while clandestinely stockpiling weapons, the FBI raid on the compound uncovered an extensive arsenal. Children were found to have received tactical firearms training, and agents recovered:

  • An AR-style rifle

  • A five-shot Smith & Wesson revolver

  • A 9mm Kimber semi-automatic pistol

  • Two 9mm Glock pistols

  • A .308 sniper rifle

  • A .30-30 lever-action rifle

  • Multiple sets of body armor

This case highlights the dangerous intersection of Muslim extremism, paramilitary training, and apocalyptic ideology, all within the context of a radicalized domestic Muslim enclave.

Siraj Wahhaj Child Abuse and CAIR
Image 33: The armed New Mexico compound where Imam Siraj Wahhaj’s kids lived and abused 11 of their own children and Wahhaj’s linkage to the CAIR and the US Muslim Brotherhood leadership

It is noteworthy that Blumenthal knew precisely who was present in the room during the 2011 CAIR fundraising banquet and who Siraj Wahhaj was. The evidence shows that his staffers compiled a detailed dossier about each participant. Still, apparently, Wahhaj’s involvement in 9/11, calling for the replacement of the constitution with Sharia, associating with known terrorists, and supporting Iran weren’t a disqualifying condition for Blumenthals’ attendance.

Blumenthal also attended Dhaouadi’s April 2013 lecture on “compassion in Islam” and the CAIR Connecticut’s 9th annual banquet with Dhaouadi in December 2013. This banquet speaker’s list just like the 2011 one, included Islamic extremists like Wahhaj and CAIR Florida Executive Director Hassan Shibly, another Islmaic radical who defended Hizballah and opposes FBI sting operations.

The Fort Pierce Mosque CAIR Connection
Image 34

In 2016, Blumenthal spoke at CAIR Connecticut’s 13th annual banquet with the jihadi Islamist Linda Sarsour. A few months later, Blumenthal participated in a joint press conference with Dhaouadi and announced a plan to accelerate the entry of Syrian refugees into the US. Blumenthal again stood with Dhaouadi and CAIR Connecticut on November 21, calling for stronger hate crimes laws (classified as speech that criticizes Islam or makes fun of the Prophet).

In 2017, Blumenthal held a joint press conference with Dhaouadi to protest President Trump’s proposed travel ban and demanded drastic changes to security screening protocols for Syrian and other Middle Eastern refugees and the expansion of the P-3 (fraud-ridden!) family reunification program.

Its obvious that Dhaouadi, played a much bigger role than just being Blumenthal’s go-to guy for Islam related issues. From the areas of focus, frequency, and quantity of Blumenthal’s Muslim related legislative work, it appears that Dhaouadi controlled Blumenthal’s Muslim policy.

How to get Muslim Brotherhood votes

Walks Like a Foreign Agent and Quacks Like a Foreign Agent
From all of the evidence, Dhaouadi appears to be a foreign agent. He reposted a pro-Qatar video on his Facebook page by Abdul Majeed Al-Zindani, a designated terrorist and Osama bin Laden loyalist. A 2004 Treasury Department statement calls Al-Zindani one of bin Laden’s “spiritual leaders”. He also helped buy arms for al-Qaida and other terrorists. Al-Zindani also appears on the United Nations list of specially designated terrorists.  Dhaouadi now works for the Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy (CSID), a group linked to Tunisia’s branch of the Muslim Brotherhood movement and the hardline Islamist Ennahda party. His social media and public speeches are dedicated to promoting propaganda that is closely aligned with the political objectives of Turkey, Qatar, and hard-core Tunisian Islamists.

Islamophobic Fake News 101
On March 21, 2012, Shaima Alawadi, a 32-year-old Iraqi Muslim mother of five, was found brutally beaten with a tire iron in her home in El Cajon, a suburb east of San Diego. A note left beside her body read, “Go back to your country, you terrorist.” Shaima succumbed to her injuries a few days later in the hospital. According to her daughter and husband, Shaima had previously discovered a similar note outside their home but had dismissed it as a prank. That earlier note read, “This is my country. Go back to yours, terrorist.”

At her memorial service, her husband, Kassim al-Himidi, tearfully addressed the mourners in Arabic:

“We want to let everyone know how innocent our mother, this woman, was.”

He then directed a question to his wife’s killer:

“The main question we would like to ask is, ‘What are you getting out of this, and why would you do this?’”

Within hours of the incident, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) mobilized a nationwide media campaign. Mongi Dhaouadi, CAIR’s executive director at the time, quickly organized protests and demonstrations, framing the attack as part of a wider trend of Islamophobia, police profiling, and aligning the messaging with Black Lives Matter narratives. Their immediate effort aimed to position the killing as a hate crime emblematic of systemic anti-Muslim bias in America.

Mongi Dhaouadii We Issued a Call Nationwide for Muslims to Join Rallies

: Mongi Dhaouadi leading demonstrations and issuing a nationwide call for Muslims to Join rallies to stop the widespread Islamic murders like the one of Shaima Alawadi

The ensuing police and FBI investigation uncovered evidence that Shaima was, in fact, planning to divorce her abusive husband, Kassim Alhimidi, and move away because she discovered that he was cheating on her. There were also other family issues of her daughter’s refusal to proceed with an arranged marriage to her cousin and her dating a non-Muslim man. In November 2012, the husband was arrested and charged with her murder. The trial was delayed by two years until 2014. In the end, the husband was found guilty of murder and was sentenced to 26 years to life.

Analyzing the media coverage of this murder shows just how extraordinarily effective is the CAIR  fake news machine and the willingness of the MSM to collude in transmitting this fake narrative. On April 01, 2012, Jamie Reno from the The Daily Beast published an extensive article titled “Shaima Alawadi’s Brutal Murder Highlights Anti-Muslim Activity in San Diego”. Both the title and the content of the article stated with almost certainty that this was a hate crime that was perpetrated by an Islamophobe. Running linkage analysis on the various media sources and individuals involved in this media stunt shows that a significant amount of coordination took place between Mongi Dhaouadii and other CAIR executives and various media outlets that reported this news. Unsurprisingly, a rent-a-reporter like Jamie Reno and his close friend Michael Isikoff show up in this linkage and other large-scale fake news projects. Michael Isikoff, for example, is the reporter who originally gaslighted the Steele Dossier and vouched for its credibility with his life.

The Qatari Influence Network
The analysis of the leaders, organizers, and activists who participated in the pro-Iran demonstrations and their social and professional networks strongly suggests that some of these individuals are foreign agents who receive foreign funding. This is further reinforced when we supplement the video analytics with secondary sources like court documents and FININT.

The Qatari Funding of the Muslim Brotherhood
Image 38:  Emails, bank records, money transfer receipts, and official government correspondence showing that the Qatari government is supporting a large number of overseas Muslim Brotherhood organizations with hundreds of millions of dollars

One recent case that can shed light on this question is a lawsuit that was filed in federal court against Sheikh Khalid Bin Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani—the brother of the emir of Qatar. The details of the action revolve around Khalid Bin Hamad allegedly ordering his American bodyguard to murder two individuals and holding an American citizen hostage in Qatar.

Sheikh Al-Thani resided in the US in 2015 before escaping to Qatar to avoid prosecution. His life seems like a wannabee reenactment of the Fast and Furious movie series. While in the US, he lived in residence at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel where he rented a whole wing for over 60 people in his entourage. When not illegally street racing his yellow Lamborghini in LA, he was doing cocaine, hiring dozens of prostitutes (male and/or female and/or underage), and concocting various murder plots.

This is certainly not an isolated incident. The Al-Thani royal family of Qatar is teeming with documented instances of debauchery and vice. Several years ago, Sheikh Al-Thani’s cousin, Sheikha Salwa, was picked up hosting an orgy.

Sharia Qatari Style and Princess Sheikha Salwa

An illustrative example of the Qatari influence and the underground railroad of drugs, money, and political influence of the Muslim Brotherhood in the US is the case of Mustapha Mohamed Atat, a Lebanese American from Detroit. He is a wanted fugitive for the 2001 Detroit murder of a young mother of two. He escaped from the US to Qatar, where Al-Thani provided him and his family with a haven, a life of luxury, and employment as a driver at his Al-Anabi drag racing team.

Drugs Hookers and Murder - The Sheikh Al-Thani Story
Image 40
: Qatari Sheikh Khalid Bin Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, his US drugs, prostitutes, and illegal street racing hobbies, and his harboring a US fugitive wanted for murder

At the time of the crime, Atat was a known member of the Detroit Arab community. He was on welfare but owned several expensive homes (paid for in cash), raced expensive cars, and owned several luxury vehicles. It was common knowledge in the community that he was a drug dealer/trafficker–the source of which was likely Hezbollah-related. Before his escape, Atat received a visa from the Qatari government–which was fully aware of his plan to flee the US to avoid persecution. Since his relocation to Qatar, Sheikh Al-Thani has not only harbored this fugitive but also continued to support him financially and shield him from justice.

Al Thani commented about his involvement with Atat in a letter published by his US legal firm. He wrote that he was unaware of Atat’s murder in Detroit and was not familiar with American law. He hoped that Atat will resolve his legal issues, expressed sorrow for the victim, and hoped that “rest of us” can now “return our focus to racing”.

An Insider View of US Qatari Influence Operations
Analyzing Sheikh Al-Thani’s communications and imagery indicates a large paid network of Qatari agents and contractors who live and work in the US. Recently, a Kuwaiti-born Canadian businessman named Alan Bender testified on October 23, 2019, in a deposition made by video in Florida District Court. As a matter of record, Bender has proven deep ties to the Qatari royal family. In his statement, he alleges that Qatari officials asked him to recruit American politicians to become Qatari assets. When he voiced concern, he was told that several US politicians, including Ilhan Omar, were already on the Qatari payroll.

This is an interesting statement because Omar’s election campaign financials are an anomaly. Over 87% of her contributions came from outside her district, and less than 9% came from her state. Also, over 80% of the contributors are members of Muslim Brotherhood organizations like CAIR, ISNA, MAS, MANA, NAIF, AMP, and MSA. Some of these organizations are funded directly or indirectly by Qatar. This aligns with Bender’s claim that the Qatari government is using some of these organizations as an insertion point and funding front for its activity in the US.

Ilhan Omar Contribution by Geography 2019 - 2020
Image 41: Ilhan Omar campaign contributor by geography

Bender’s affidavit also details Ilhan Omar’s early political timeline and rise to prominence. He alleges that Qatar’s secretary to the Emir for Security Affairs, one Mohammad bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Masna, told him that Qatar “recruited Ilhan Omar from even way before she thought about becoming a government official … They groomed her and arranged the foundation, the grounds, for her to get into politics way before she even showed interest. They convinced her.”

Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Advisor of the Emir of the State of Qatar
Image 42
: Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Masnad, advisor of the Emir of the state of Qatar for national security affairs and Qatari ambassador to Georgia Mubarak Bin Nasser Al-Khalif

Bender claims that Omar cooperated with Qatar’s request, received cash payments, and used her position in the House of Representatives to access sensitive information, which she relayed to Qatar and through them to Iran. Bender goes on to say that the Qatari officials claimed credit for Omar’s meteoric rise from a minimum wage part-time social worker to a congresswoman, saying:

If it wasn’t for our cash, Ilhan Omar would be just another black Somali refugee in America collecting welfare and serving tables on weekends,”

Bender also testified about his meetings with Al-Masnad and other Qatari officials, during which they discussed the lawsuit against Sheikh Al-Thani.

Many of the details provided in the testimony appear to match Omar’s MO. For example, she has already been found to have broken campaign finance laws. The Minnesota Campaign Finance Board ruled that she violated state campaign finance rules by improperly using campaign money for out-of-state travel while serving as a state representative. Additionally, she certainly committed some form of immigration/marriage/college funding fraud. Omar also paid close to $230K to a political consulting group managed by Tim Mynett. Omar, in character, has vehemently denied that Mynett is her lover, but recent divorce papers by Myent’s wife indicate that this was indeed the case.

Iranian Sleeper Cells in the US
In June 2017, a Bronx man named Ali Kourani was charged with conducting reconnaissance of JFK airport in New York for a potential Hezbollah attack. Around this same time, another Dearborn, Michigan man named Samer El-Debek was arrested and charged with traveling to Panama to conduct surveillance of some targets and the Panama Canal. In February, a third Cedar Rapids, Iowa man named Fadi Yassine was arrested and charged with weapon shipments to Hezbollah.

The American public reacted to these arrests with shock. No one expected that Hezbollah—an Iranian proxy—was fully operational on US soil. These arrests should not have come as a surprise; Hezbollah has been active inside the US and South America for decades, engaging in a range of activities that include bombing, fundraising, and money laundering. But despite these activities, the three arrests and detailed confessions that followed about their membership in Hezbollah’s black ops group indicated a significant escalation in the Iranian terror strategy.

Historically, Hezbollah-run charities such as the Mahdi Scouts, the Shia schools, and the Martyrs Foundation have been entities that supply charitable funds to the families of Hezbollah fighters and are an extension of Hezbollah. The Martyrs Foundation operates in different countries under different auspices. In the US, its satellite is called the Goodwill Charitable Organization. It is based in Dearborn, and it is responsible for funneling contributions from members and supporters directly to Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Hezbollah also operates a large fraud network that includes operatives in at least ten states, including Michigan, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, and West Virginia. It has also established legitimate businesses in the US, including a perfume distribution company that is a front for money laundering.

Another scheme involves purchasing used cars in the US and reselling them in Africa, part of a global money laundering network that also involved the Lebanese Canadian Bank and the mingling of funds Hezbollah garnered from cocaine trafficking to the US.

: The Hezbollah US-Lebanon-South America used cars, drugs, and money laundering connection

Considering all of Hezbollah’s counterfeiting, smuggling, and trafficking operations, among the most lucrative scams the group executed was a cigarette smuggling ring based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Cartons of cigarettes purchased in North Carolina for $14 could be sold in Michigan for twice as much. The group is believed to have earned tens of thousands of dollars by transporting and selling untaxed cigarettes throughout the United States.

The most alarming case that relates to the existence of Iranian sleeper cells in the US took place in 2017. According to US federal prosecutors, two US-based Hezbollah Islamic Jihad operatives–Ali Kourani (AKA Ali Korani Samawar) and Samer El Debek (AKA Samer Ahmad Eldebek were tasked with carrying out operational surveillance for Iranian-sponsored Hezbollah attacks in the US. Kourani, born in Lebanon, lawfully entered the US in 2003 on a student visa; he has over 120 relatives in the US. In 2009, Kourani earned a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering from City College of New York. In 2012, he married a Canadian-Lebanese dual citizen and promptly separated from his wife. In 2013, he got a Masters degree in Business Administration from Keller Graduate School. He traveled to Lebanon every year from 2005 to 2015 to visit his family.

After getting his MBA and citizenship, he completely disappeared into the woodwork. He worked as a mid-level manager in various New York area companies, making about $100K a year. He was completely Westernized, owned a number of apartments, had an American flag on the porch, supported various civil rights causes, and, by all accounts, was the paragon of a successful Muslim immigrant to the US.

The Perfect Muslim immigrants
Image 44
: Ali Kourani and Samer El Debek -The perfectly Americanized Muslim immigrants

But it turns out that he lived a double life. In 2000, Kourani attended Hezbollah weapons training in Lebanon when he was only 16 years old. In February 2008, the Islamic Jihad recruited him. When Kourani submitted an application for naturalization in the US in August 2008, he was already an active Hezbollah agent. In April 2009, Kourani became a naturalized citizen and was issued a US passport. In May 2009, Kourani traveled to Guangzhou, China; the purpose of the trip was to develop relationships with local vendors to obtain ammonium nitrate and other chemicals that could be used as explosives.

The Islamic Jihad assigned Kourani a handler and mentor, regularly debriefed him, and arranged for his training. Kourani communicated with his handler via coded email and a messaging service to instruct him when to return to Lebanon. When Kourani arrived in Lebanon, he would call a telephone number associated with an Islamic Jihad pager and provide a secret passcode. After contacting the pager, the handler would contact Kourani and set up an in-person meeting by calling one of Kourani’s relatives. The Islamic Jihad also provided Kourani additional training in spycraft, weapons, and sabotage tactics. In 2011, Kourani attended a weapons training camp in Lebanon, where he trained on an RPG, an AK-47 rifle, an MP5 submachine gun, a PKS machine gun, and a Glock pistol.

Both Debek and Ali Kourani were directed by Hezbollah to find people in the US from whom they could purchase weapons, which they were planning to stockpile in the New York area. Kourani also conducted surveillance of New York and Toronto airports and of FBI, Secret Service, and US military facilities in New York City.

The Kourani/Debek case offers insight into just how organized and professional the Iranian operations are in the US and when and how Iran will use the Hezbollah and the Islamic Jihad cells to carry out attacks. During one of Kourani’s interviews with the FBI agent, Kourani freely confessed that “I am a member of 910, also known as Islamic Jihad or the Black Ops of Hezbollah. The unit is Iranian-controlled.”

Officially, Hezbollah’s unit 910 reports directly to Hassan Nasrallah, but according to Kourani, Iran oversees the unit’s operations. Kourani described his role in the FBI and that of other team members as a “sleeper cell.”

It is noteworthy that MSM has been exhibiting an extreme political bias against this case and has refused to dig into the details. Drawing attention to the clear and present danger of Hezbollah attacks in the US might undermine the MSM false narrative: that Islamic terror is less of a threat than the racist, bigoted, and Islamophobic ‘white alt-right’ domestic terrorists which are just waiting for the sign from the conspiratorial dog-whistling Donald Trump.

From the comprehensive media searches that the AI evaluated for this project, not even one investigative reporter has interviewed El Debek’s or Kourani’s neighbors, relatives, friends, or co-workers. No MSM outlet has attempted to follow up on this national security precedent-setting case. Reading the following list and severity of charges against the suspects makes one wonder why the media is going out of its way to ignore it:

  • Providing material support and resources to a designated foreign terrorist organization (carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison).
  • Conspiracy to provide material support and resources to a designated foreign terrorist organization (carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison).
  • Receiving military-type training from a designated foreign terrorist organization (carries a sentence of 10 years in prison or a fine).
  • Conspiracy to receive military-type training from a designated foreign terrorist organization (carries a maximum sentence of 5 years in prison).
  • Possessing, carrying, and using firearms and destructive devices during and concerning crimes of violence (carries a maximum sentence of life in prison).
  • Making and receiving a contribution of funds, goods, and services to and from Hezbollah in violation of IEEPA (carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison).
  • Conspiracy to make and receive a contribution of funds, goods, and services to and from Hezbollah, in violation of IEEPA (carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison).

The one report from the New York Times—the mother of all Islamic terror whitewashing services—was a puff piece by Benjamin Weiser entitled: “He Wanted to Be an Informant. The FBI Arrested Him Instead.” The article purposefully overlooked a large amount of evidence showing direct Iranian involvement. Instead, Weiser focused on the regular excuses for Islamic terrorists, i.e., the criminal angle and the FBI’s coercion of a confused innocent man to admit guilt. Nothing about Iranian sleeper cells in the US.

Conclusion
Through the mid-1990s, the Muslim Brotherhood in the US and abroad believed that they would be able to sway American public opinion and foreign policy in their favor through direct military action. The first 1993 attack and the second 2001 attack against the World Trade Center were the culmination of this shock and awe strategy.

The anti-Muslim backlash that followed 9/11 convinced the Muslim Brotherhood leadership that large internal US violent assaults were unlikely to succeed. So, instead of only focusing on these types of terrorist attacks (there are still plenty of smaller cell actions like the Fort Hood and Pulse Nightclub shootings), it shifted its strategy to infiltrating various civil rights and communist organizations and slowly taking over them.

By 2002, the Muslim Brotherhood was in full control of the agenda and operations of organizations like PSL and ANSWER—which they helped form in 2001. By 2004, they lead national anti-war, pro-Palestinian demonstrations. By 2006, they spearheaded nationwide rallies against the Israeli response to Hamas firing rockets from Gaza. By 2013, they became the main force behind the Nation of Islam’s becoming a mainstream Muslim organization—this was done by legitimizing the movement as Muslim (The Nation of Islam doesn’t adhere to Islam’s core tenants; Its core belief revolves around a Japanese made giant golden UFO). That same year, they were also behind the formation of the Black Lives Matter movement. By 2015, they supported and led the mobilizations of the 25th  anniversary of the Million Man March. In 2017, the two co-chairs of the Woman’s March were the Muslim Brotherhood and Nation of Islam affiliated organizers Linda Sarsour and Tamika Mallory. By 2018, the Muslim Brotherhood managed to get several congresswomen elected. Since then, they have hijacked the Democratic party and the US political discourse through their agents Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tliab, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez…who naturally promote a wide range of Islamist, communist, and socialist agendas.

As a classic foreign agent, one of the Muslim Brotherhood’s roles was to identify areas of internal social contention and exploit them. From this organization’s last twenty years of activity, it is obvious that they have been phenomenally successful in doing so, as they have now become both the driving force and the face of almost every civil right organization in the US.

Currently, the strategy of the green Islamists and the red progressives has been to use agitation and occasional violence, particularly on university campuses and through Antifa intimidation riots in ‘revolution-friendly’ urban enclaves like San Francisco, Berkeley, Portland, and NYC. However, the Red-Green Alliance understands that it is unlikely that it will be able to gain and retain power under the current constitutional system. One workaround to this obstacle is to capture power by disabling parts of the safeguards in the system or by carrying out a coup d’état. A few of these tactics have already been demonstrated through actively trying to revoke the Second Amendment, stopping the appointment of judges to the Supreme Court, removing Trump from office on some bogus Russian collusion Ukrainian malfeasance charges, and promoting unrestricted immigration.

In what seems to be another example of life imitating art, the Red-Green Alliance’s fifth column is now marching at full speed, executing Huxley’s dystopian vision. Yes, siree, the cast is all here, with each one having its pre-determined roles and responsibilities. The lower Deltas act as the drone Antifa activists who get their marching orders from the more intelligent and charismatic Betas, the professional (and well-paid) revolutionary organizers. The Betas, in turn, report to the elite Alpha caste, the progressive US Muslim Brotherhood leadership, which, in turn, is the bootlicking agent of a despotic and debouched Qatari sheik and Turkish tyrant who fantasizes about the re-birth of the Ottoman empire.

Cultural subversion and destructive foreign political influence on our elected officials are complex problems to solve. During WWII, the German American Bund and its Nazi network in the US operated identically to the Muslim Brotherhood. They organized mass rallies, created pro-German front organizations, and had agents working the halls of Congress. Yet, once this massive threat was identified and prioritized, the FBI dismantled it quickly.

For the past 244 years we found ways to safeguard our constitutional republic through defensive legislation such as the Alien and Sedition Act, the Espionage Act of 1917, and the McCarran Internal Security Act. Perhaps the time has come to start work on the next safeguard, the ‘Religious Subversion act of 2020’.

The Divine Destruction of America: Can She Avert It?
Louis Farrakhan the Leader of the Nation of Islam discussing his teacher’s description of the sacred UFO said:

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad told us of a giant Mother Plane that is made like the universe, spheres within spheres. White people call them unidentified flying objects (UFOs). Ezekiel, in the Old Testament, saw a wheel that looked like a cloud by day but a pillar of fire by night. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said that that wheel was built on the island of Nippon, which is now called Japan, by some of the Original scientists. It took $15 billion in gold at that time to build it. It is made of the toughest steel. America does not yet know the composition of the steel used to make an instrument like it. It is a circular plane, and the Bible says that it never makes turns. Because of its circular nature it can stop and travel in all directions at speeds of thousands of miles per hour. He said there are 1,500 small wheels in this Mother Wheel, which is a half mile by a half mile [800 m by 800 m]. This Mother Wheel is like a small human-built planet. Each one of these small planes carry three bombs.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said these planes were used to set up mountains on the earth. The Qur’an says it like this: We have raised mountains on the earth lest it convulse with you. How do you raise a mountain, and what is the purpose of a mountain? Have you ever tried to balance a tire? You use weights to keep the tire balanced. That’s how the earth is balanced, with mountain ranges. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said that we have a type of bomb that, when it strikes the earth a drill on it is timed to go into the earth and explode at the height that you wish the mountain to be. If you wish to take the mountain up a mile [1.6 km], you time the drill to go a mile in and then explode. The bombs these planes have are timed to go one mile down and bring up a mountain one mile high, but it will destroy everything within a 50-square-mile [130 km²] radius. The white man writes in his above top secret memos of the UFOs. He sees them around his military installations like they are spying.

That Mother Wheel is a dreadful-looking thing. White folks are making movies now to make these planes look like fiction, but it is based on something real. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said that Mother Plane is so powerful that with sound reverberating in the atmosphere, just with a sound, she can crumble buildings.”

The Muslim Community Patrol (MCP): by Karys Rhea and Benjamin Baird
”MCPS, which bills itself as a civilian patrol organization acting as a liaison between New York police and the local Muslim community, typically patrols Brooklyn’s Bay Ridge and Sunset Park neighborhoods. One MCPS leader called the group a “neighborhood community patrol on steroids,” and residents have complained about its overzealous nature. Besides driving around in patrol vehicles that look remarkably similar to New York Police Department cruisers, MCPS recruits have been accused of harassing residents for minor offenses, and they are allegedly involved in a feud with the local Gates Avenue Bloods, a violent street gang. (MCPS head of security Ali Karim denied this altercation, referring to the sources of the allegation as “human devils.”)

Staffed by amateur volunteers, MCPS may not seem like Erdogan’s best option for supplemental security. However, by employing MCPS, the Turkish regime is expanding its base of overseas Islamist loyalists, who can subsequently be called upon to support his political objectives. While cementing his authoritarian reign at home, Erdogan has long been leveraging his international ties to Islamists. He openly backs the Muslim Brotherhood. His regime has provided financial support for Hamas, a designated terrorist group, and is accused of supporting affiliates of terrorist groups such as ISIS and Al Qaeda.

On the American front, Erdogan and his advisors regularly attend conventions organized by Islamist groups with extremist ties, such as the CAIR and the Islamic Society of North America. Recently, Turkey invested $110 million in building a 20,000 square foot mosque in Maryland. In response, Islamists openly pledge their support to the Turkish president, treating him “like a Sultan” in exchange for increased financial and political support.

With documented ties to terrorism and extremism of their own, MCPS leaders apparently harbored no reservations about lending their support to a foreign Islamist leader. In fact, MCPS security chief Ali Karim claimed that he “witnessed” the 2017 Sheridan Circle assault “first hand,” but still felt at ease working in September with the Turkish president’s violent security detail.

Karim is the spokesman and head of security for extremist preacher and senior MCPS leader Siraj Wahhaj’s At-Taqwa mosque, where Karim hosts self-defense workshops offering paramilitary-style training and instructions on how to disarm law enforcement officers. Several workshop participants have referred to themselves as “jihad warriors,” and one trainee pleaded guilty in 2011 to plotting an attack on the Washington D.C. Metro System. In a 2013 social media post, Karim wrote, “Allah made it obligatory for the Muslims to fight in Jihad against the evil of the enemy who transgress against Islam . . . Jihad is required from every person.”

According to official NYPD documents, local law enforcement maintained a special interest in Karim and Wahhaj, secretly monitoring them for years. Wahhaj’s speech at the September TASC event praised the Turkish president. “We need a centralized leadership. I have a feeling that the leadership is coming from Turkey,” Wahhaj said, adding, “We love you here in New York.”

Wahhaj, the MCPS deputy director of operations, was listed as a potential co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. During the late 1980s, Wahhaj began recruiting Muslims from prisons and homeless shelters to eradicate crack dealers from Brooklyn. “We are willing to fight, willing to die and willing to kill,” Wahhaj told the New York Times.

Wahhaj’s men were eventually absorbed into SSI Patrol Services, an armed private security firm frequently in trouble with the law. At least three SSI guards were charged with serious criminal offenses, including second-degree murder. The defendant in that case, Ali Mustapha, was acquitted after one key witness was murdered and another refused to testify. Mustapha currently serves as MCPS’s recruitment officer and supervisor.

Impetuous and extreme, MCPS members make for poor public safety officers. Perhaps for these reasons it was selected to reinforce a Turkish presidential security detachment with its own history of brutality and contempt for U.S. laws.

The presence of uniformed Muslim American guards deployed in service to a foreign leader sends a clear message to the world: a growing number of American Islamists are fiercely devoted to Erdogan as the Caliph of an Islamic state that has transcended national borders.”
