Today’s Special:Contaminated Bat Soup and Stale CCP Disinformation Salad

From WIV with love

Since the outbreak of Covid-19 in the west, some mainstream media outlets have gone out of their way to painstakingly promote a number of specific Covid-19 origin theories. Two of the leading themes have been the ‘contaminated bat soup’ and the ‘wet markets’ narratives.

In writing When Tedros Moves His Lips, Beijing Speaks, I deployed several AI agents that have been monitoring SM and MSM Covid-19 related internet traffic. The agents regularly report whenever certain imagery, phrases, or topics appear on the internet. Over the past 2 weeks the system has picked up patterns of reuse of verbiage related to the origin of the virus. For some reason, older narratives get constantly re-inserted into the news feeds and political speeches.

Three such illustrative examples are:

  1. That the consumption of contaminated bat soup was the origin of the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan
  2. That the Chinese were selling and even now continue to sell bats at various ‘Wet markets
  3. That there is no correlation between the Covid-19 virus and the virus specimens that were isolated from bats in 2014 and worked on in the WIV lab

It is interesting to note that all three of these topics are an integral part of the Chinese government’s propaganda that the Covid-19 virus originated in the wild where it accidently jumped from infected bats to some intermediary host or directly to humans.

Based on a large body of imagery and source linkage analysis, these three claims can be shown to be decidedly false, most likely originally produced as a part of an organized disinformation campaign. So, why are MSM outlets like the Sun, DailyMail and the Daily Caller continuing to regurgitate and publish articles supporting this messaging? One possible explanation could be just laziness and poor investigative skills; another could be that it provides a comforting alternative to the strong possibility that the Covid-19 outbreak originated from the Wuhan Institute of Virology laboratory. The latter option would certainly be in-line with undisclosed MSM commercial interests of some sort and the old maxim that one can excuse incompetence but not so dishonesty and negligence. Another convenient bi-product of promoting the force majeure origin narrative is that it would allow China to mount an effective legal defense against the flood of lawsuit heading their way.

The composite in Image 2 illustrates the false basis for the ongoing MSM ‘contaminated bat soup’ and ‘wet market’ origin claims.

  1. Sometimes events are so twisted and weird that it’s difficult to form an opinion or even comment intelligently. I kept wondering about the Chinese still (?) consuming bat soup the second time I read it — a few weeks after the first time — during waves of the virus hitting our west and east coasts. I’ve always thought if bats were involved, it was more likely that a bat or other animal had been ‘infected’ with an experimental virus in that Wuhan lab, and then somehow through incompetence or even deliberately, the virus spread to the outside world.

After these past three to four years, there are few things that surprise me about mankind’s evil heart. Yes, revelations about the darkness working in our world sicken and revolt me, but not much surprises me any more. Though people like you, Yaacov Apelbaum, leave me with hope.

    • Thank you for your comment and kind words Joan.

I think that there is a lot of confusion about the sourcing of Covid-19. But, at the same time, we also have plenty of documented evidence that pre-date the December outbreak. We know from a number of scientific papers published by the Chinese WIV team and their US collaborators (and various critics) in 2014-2019 that they have successfully isolated the bat born SARS like virus in the lab and were conducting advanced research on it. This included genetic engineering and cross species transmissibility. So given these facts, there is no reason to look for the virus in the ‘Web markets’ or soup. It was already in the lab in one form on another, so any sourcing discussing should start there.

Regarding our own media and politician’s involvement in promoting this narrative, I’ll defer to Proverbs 14:5:

An honest witness does not deceive,
but a false witness pours out lies.

      • It’s so nice that you always have a good verse from the Bible in comments you’ve made to me — makes me smile every time and always gives me confidence (something I should have all of the time, but find as I’ve gotten older that my nerves, at times, are shot and let me down.) My mother once told me ‘Joan, you just wear out’, and I said, ‘No, Moma, no,’ because she was in her 80s and not feeling well. I couldn’t accept that she wouldn’t last as long as I needed her. :) She did live to her 94th birthday — in fact, she died the weekend she turned 94. I still miss her. She was strong — her nerves didn’t wear out, her body did.

Thanks again for your articles. I enjoy them (and I l love the way you think.)

  2. the ‘snake’ correlation makes no sense. One could hardly expect a viral disease so tuned to the respiratory tract of mammals would find reptiles a vector

  3. Have you been following the Dr. Judy Mikovits drama? Is she a woman scorned by the scientific community and Fauci.
