An Ode to Ebrahim Raisi and Hossein Amirabdollahian

In reference to Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi, the Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian involvement in the October 7 massacre in Israel:

For thus said G-d of Hosts—who sent me after glory—concerning the nations that have touched Israel:
Whoever touches you touches the apple of my eye
  – Zechariah 2

Here is a little Ode to the crew and passengers of the helicopter ride to hell:

Though the mills of G-d grind slowly,
Yet they grind exceeding small
Though with patience he stands waiting,
With exactness grinds he all.

Finally, the earth has swallowed you,
Half eaten and a rotting smell
Good riddance once and for all,
For eternity may you rot in hell!

  1. so if Haman were a General, he was not technically Persian, but the events of October 7th, would be right up in their wheelhouse, the details of how this plan was put into motion, and the timetable is something we only grok from places like the Tablet,

  2. the Tablet the on line publication that may replace Commentary,
Raissi probably had as many adversaries as Prigozhin for different reasons,

that was just sloppy to have so many high profile Azeri and Iranian figures in one place,
